Abstract
The research aimed to: 1) examine the factors affecting business success; 2) develop a chatbot-based training system focusing on these factors; and 3) evaluate the system’s efficiency and effectiveness. The participants consisted of five experts and 25 entrepreneurs from the Nation Building Businessman Community (NBBC). Research instruments included a semi-structured interview form, the chatbot-based training system, an efficiency evaluation questionnaire, a knowledge and attitude test, and a satisfaction questionnaire. Data were analyzed using mean, standard deviation, content analysis, and a dependent sample t-test. Findings revealed: 1) business success is influenced by five key factors: management, innovation, entrepreneurial characteristics, business strategy, and market orientation. 2) The chatbot-based training system was developed utilizing the Input-Process-Output-Feedback (IPOF) framework derived from a needs analysis. Built on the Botnoi platform and integrated into the LINE application, the system delivers targeted knowledge on the five business success factors, enabling entrepreneurs to learn anytime and anywhere. 3) Expert evaluations indicated a high level of system efficiency (x̄ = 4.44), with recommendations to improve navigation indicators, simplify access, and enhance proactive interaction to boost user engagement. Regarding effectiveness outcomes, participants’ post-training knowledge scores (x̄ = 12.68) were significantly higher than their pre-training scores (x̄ = 4.60) at the .01 level of significance. Similarly, post-training attitude scores (x̄ = 21.48) were significantly higher than pre-training scores (x̄ = 15.72). Overall satisfaction was high (x̄ = 4.38). Participants suggested enhancing the user interface via responsive design and integrating a follow-up function to track learning progress. In conclusion, the developed system demonstrated high efficiency and effectiveness within the context of this preliminary study. By integrating the IPOF framework with chatbot technology, it effectively bridged training gaps and enhanced entrepreneurs’ knowledge, attitudes, and satisfaction, serving as a convenient and accessible digital tool for continuous professional development.
