Evaluating Immersive Microlearning Through Integrated Augmented and Virtual Reality for Napier Grass Fuel Pellet Production

Abstract

The research successfully developed an immersive microlearning platform focusing on Napier grass fuel pellet production. The content was structured into two primary modules encompassing 14 sub-topics with a total duration of 26.29 minutes. By integrating Augmented Reality for interactive theoretical engagement and 360o Virtual Reality for authentic industrial exploration, the media achieved an efficiency index (E1/E2) of 83.93/90.31, significantly surpassing the 75/75 standard criteria at the p < 0.01 confidence level. Furthermore, user satisfaction was rated at high level (M = 4.45), particularly in the dimension of learning experience, confirming that the dual-technology approach effectively simplified complex industrial workflows and enhanced overall learner engagement.
