About Journal
Asian Social Science (ASS) is an international, double-anonymized peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by the Canadian Center of Science and Education. The journal publishes high quality reviews and research articles that focus on social science, especially in Asian area.
Authors are encouraged to submit complete, original, unpublished manuscripts that are not under review by any other journal. All published articles are freely available online.
Focus and Scope
Asian Social Science is an international, peer-reviewed journal dedicated to the study of contemporary social issues in Asia. The journal provides a platform for rigorous empirical and comparative research that contributes to understanding and addressing key social challenges in Asian societies.
Key thematic areas include, but are not limited to:
· Anthropology and cultural practice
· Economics and development
· Education and human capital
· Management and organizations
· History and social transformation
· Political science and governance
· Psychology and social welfare
· Sociology and social structure
The journal prioritizes studies that:
· Employ clear social science methodologies;
· Offer comparative perspectives across Asian countries or regions;
· Provide policy-relevant insights;
· Address emerging social issues in East Asia, Southeast Asia, and South Asia; articles focusing on other Asian regions are equally welcome.
Submissions outside the social sciences or without a clear Asian focus will not be considered.
