Paper Selection and Publication Process
1. Submission Confirmation. Upon receipt of a manuscript, the editorial office sends a confirmation email to the corresponding author within 1–3 working days.
2. Double-anonymized Peer Review. All submissions undergo double-anonymized peer review by at least two independent external reviewers with relevant subject-matter expertise. The typical review periodis 4–8 weeks.
3. Editorial Decision. The Editor-in-Chief or a designated Associate Editor makes the final decision (accept, minor revision, major revision, or reject) based on reviewerrecommendations and editorial judgment.
4. Revision and Production. Accepted manuscripts proceed to author revision, copyediting, typesetting, DOI registration via Crossref, and online publication.
5. Open Access Publication. All published articles are freely available online under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0) license.

Journal Standards
1. Plagiarism Screening
All submissions are screened with iThenticate before being sent to reviewers. CCSE maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward plagiarism.
2. Digital Object Identifier (DOI)
Each published article is assigned a DOI registered through Crossref, providing persistent identification and citation linking.
3. Early Online Publication
Accepted manuscripts may be published online prior to assignment to a specific issue, allowing earlier access and citation.
