Abstract
With the rapid development of digital education, the publication models of British and American literature textbooks in higher education are undergoing profound changes. Traditional printed textbooks are no longer sufficient to meet contemporary students’ learning need, while digital textbooks, with their interactivity, upgradability, and ability to integrate resources, are becoming an important direction for teaching reform. Based on theories from economics and communication studies, and combining educational technology with the characteristics of British and American literature teaching, this paper explores the publication strategies of digital British and American literature textbooks in higher education. It also analyzes their advantages and challenges, aiming to provide theoretical references and practical guidance for the digital transformation of college textbook publishing.
