Focus and Scope

Environment and Pollution (EP) is an international journal which focuses on original studies in the field of environment science and engineering.

EP encourages high-quality submissions. In order to carry out our non-discrimination principles, we use a double-blind system of peer review.

EP covers the entire spectrum of research including the following topics: environmental quality management, ecological effects of pollutants in air, water and soil environments, waste management, the sustainable use of environmental resources, the marine environment, environmental biotechnology, radioecology and climate change.

Peer Review Process

The journal uses double-blind system for peer-review; both reviewers and authors' identities remain anonymous. The paper will be peer-reviewed by three experts; two reviewers from outside and one editor from the journal typically involve in reviewing a submission.

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

Archiving

This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. More...
