An Evaluation of Jordanian EFL Teachers’ In-service Training Courses Teaching Techniques Effectiveness

The purposes of conducting this study is to evaluate and investigate the influence of teaching techniques on EFL teachers’ performance by evaluating the teachers’ teaching techniques effectiveness and actual implementation, and to examine the role of teachers’ teaching techniques in influencing the effectiveness of the in-service training courses. In addition, seven hundred and ninety eight copies of the questionnaires were handed over by the researcher to the subjects whom represent the sample of the study. Qualitative and quantitative approaches were combined and implemented in this study in order to gather facts during the evaluation. In addition, the findings of the study revealed that the EFL teachers’ in-service training courses did  not  emphasize EFL teachers teaching technique in a good manner taking into consideration in-service training courses teaching techniques effectiveness and its impact on of EFL teachers’ performance.
